We are honored to feature Vani Marshall for episode 60 of The Pillar Diaries.

Born into a devout Hindu family and marked from childhood by a hunger for truth, Vani tells how a desperate search for healing in a temple left her feeling unclean and unworthy, until years later in a dark bedroom she remembered a simple Christmas card that said “Jesus saves,” cried out His name, and was instantly healed as His presence filled the room. She shares the cost of that decision in the years that followed, including family alienation, the grief of losing her husband and best friend, and learning to find a “new norm” by serving others, planting Emotional Health Fellowship in a largely non‑Christian nation, and reaching Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and professionals with the gospel. Deeply discipled by Vesta Mangun, Vani now lives with a made-up mind to tell her story, call this generation back to prayer, the Word, and simple obedience, and remind every listener that Jesus still saves, heals, and gives purpose on the other side of loss.
